These Terms govern your use of the TravelWise Tech website, the Travel Intelligence editorial publication, the RecoverAir claims recovery service, and any related products operated by TravelWise Tech LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company. By using any of these properties, you agree to these Terms.
TravelWise Tech LLC operates three primary properties under one corporate umbrella:
Travel Intelligence is editorially independent within TravelWise Tech LLC. The publication makes its own decisions about what to cover, how to cover it, and which sources to cite. Commercial relationships, including RecoverAir's claims service, do not dictate editorial coverage or conclusions.
Every cited statistic traces to a verified source with provenance: regulatory filings, NAIC consumer information records, state Department of Insurance examinations, official carrier procedures, peer reviewed studies, and original data the editorial team has sourced. The publication does not invent scenarios, dollar figures, or pattern claims it cannot back. Citations are included when load bearing to the analysis, not as decoration.
We correct factual errors promptly when identified. Material corrections are noted on the article itself and dated. To request a correction, email editorial@travelwisetech.com with the article URL and the specific claim in question.
Articles may reference RecoverAir as a service option where the topic genuinely calls for it. Those mentions follow the same editorial rules as any other reference and do not change the underlying analysis.
You may quote, excerpt, and cite Travel Intelligence articles and RecoverAir reports for educational, journalistic, and analytic use under fair use, with attribution that names Travel Intelligence or RecoverAir as the source and links back to the original page where practical. Reproducing full articles or reports without permission is not permitted. For licensing inquiries, syndication, or republication beyond fair use, email press@travelwisetech.com.
TravelWise Tech LLC retains copyright over its editorial analysis, methodology, and visuals. Underlying source data referenced in reports remains owned by the respective primary sources cited.
RecoverAir assists travelers in pursuing compensation and refunds from airlines, hotels, insurance companies, online travel agencies, and other travel related parties, acting as the traveler's authorized representative.
Our standard fee is 25% of any amount successfully recovered on your behalf. No fee is charged if we do not recover funds. For insurance denial appeals and certain specialty claims, an upfront review fee applies as disclosed at submission. All fees are disclosed before you proceed.
By submitting a claim, you authorize TravelWise Tech LLC to act as your representative in communicating with airlines, insurers, and other parties on the claim's behalf. You represent that all information provided is accurate and that you have the right to make the claim submitted.
We make no guarantee that any claim will result in recovery. Outcomes depend on the specific facts of each case and applicable regulations. Our eligibility assessments are estimates only and do not constitute legal advice.
Travel Intelligence and RecoverAir may offer free newsletters, email digests, and account based subscriptions in the future. If you sign up, your email address is used to deliver the content you requested and related operational messages such as account confirmations and policy changes. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the link in any email or by emailing privacy@travelwisetech.com.
We do not sell or rent email lists. Email handling is governed in detail by our Privacy Policy.
TravelWise Tech products are ad free. We do not run third party advertising or use behavioral advertising cookies. We do use essential cookies required for the site to function, limited analytics to understand traffic patterns, and Google's Reader Revenue Manager Subscribe with Google basic snippet on editorial pages, which lets us measure publication engagement and qualify for Google news features. You agree not to use our properties to violate any law, infringe intellectual property rights, harvest data through scraping or automated means without permission, attempt to disrupt the site's security or availability, or misrepresent your identity or claims. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations.
Articles, reports, calculators, and templates published by Travel Intelligence and RecoverAir are informational and educational. They are not legal, financial, medical, or tax advice. Travel laws, airline policies, insurance terms, and regulatory rules change, and individual cases turn on specific facts. Consult qualified counsel for advice on your specific situation.
Our properties link to third party websites and reference third party services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third parties. References to airlines, insurers, credit card issuers, online travel agencies, and other travel parties are for informational purposes and do not imply endorsement or partnership unless explicitly stated.
Our properties and services are provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TravelWise Tech LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our properties or services. Our total liability for any direct damages is limited to the fees you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hennepin County, Minnesota.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated Terms with a new date. Continued use of our properties after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
